E-Propulsion offers the joy of a quiet ride without the smell, pollution, or maintenance needs of traditional gas motors.
We started buying and carrying ePropulsion products as soon as they became available on the market a few years ago. Since then they’ve done nothing but improve! We’d be happy to help you find a motor that works for your needs, so Contact Us if you have any questions or are looking to order.

Clean. Quiet. Reliable.
WHAT IS THE DIFFERENCE BETWEEN THE SPIRIT 1.0 PLUS AND THE SPIRIT 1.O EVO?
The upgraded Evo models can regenerate its battery while being pulled through the water. Basically the propeller becomes a turbine to charge your battery! It has the option for remote throttle or tiller, as well as an option for a safety wristband that will cut the motor if you ever fall overboard.
A decade of innovation.
ePropulsion has been leading the innovation of electric outboard motors, with brushless direct-drive outboard, field-oriented control, and anti-corrosion technology. The outboard motors have proven to be more quiet, more durable, and offer longer battery life than the competition at better prices in consumer reports across the board.
What is the range on a Spirit 1.0?
1.2 hours at full throttle at 6.2 miles per hour (1kW), but small decreases in speed make a huge difference in range.
If you decrease to 5.3 mph you get 2.5 hours
Down to 4.4 mph you’ll go about 5 hours.
And 3.5 mph you can get up to 10 hours!
We suggest ordering a spare battery if you are really concerned about range. On our dinghy we carry the solar panel and charger kit to recharge the battery while we’re ashore or out for longer trips.
FAQs
Q: Do we carry ePropulsion motors, batteries, and parts?
Yes we do!
How Do I Order?
Check our our SHOP or contact us if you have specific needs for a custom order.
Does the Solar Charger Charge Off of Any Solar Panel or Do I Need a Specific Kind?
The E-Propulsion solar charger can charge off any 12V or 24V solar panel up to 180 watts, and can handle a high input. In addition, the solar charger can actually charge off any 12V power source, and we recommend this option for users wanting to charge off ship batteries.
Do we have ePropulsions in stock?
Yes we do! If we don’t have what you’re looking for, we can order anything in within a few weeks, or drop ship it direct.
Can I demo an ePropulsion Motor?
We do not currently have a showroom, but contact us if you are interested in a demonstration of a Spirit 1.0 outboard. If you are in the Seattle, Puget Sound, or North Olympic Peninsula we may be able to arrange a demonstration, but we are a small business also working on marine repair. We ask for your patience if we are booked out.
How fast does the ePropulsion 1.2 kWh recharge on a standard charger vs. the fast charger?
The standard charger is ready after 8.5 hours vs the fast charger is done in 3.5 hours so you can get back on the water as soon as possible.
